About Me
HI MY NAME IS CECILIA!
And Cecilia’s Creative Foods is my little corner of the internet!
I’m the voice and creator behind Cecilia’s Creative Foods. I’ve always had a passion for creating meals, snack, deserts and a continued passion for creation in the kitchen. My goal is to reach people with fun recipes.
Since I was a little girl, I’ve had a strong passion for cooking and baking. This love for the culinary arts has shaped my understanding of nutrition and wellness, especially as it relates to bone health. Through careful selection of ingredients and mindful preparation, I strive to create dishes that not only delight the palate but also support strong, healthy bones. Sharing recipes and tips that promote bone strength is at the heart of what I do, helping others nourish their bodies from the inside out.
I live in North Dakota with my cat Belle. My Favorite things in life are a nice piece of chocolate cake, sunny days and watching The Food Network (I know right?!?!).
I LOVE FOOD!
Here, I share simple, tasty, mostly healthy recipes I actually cook and enjoy every day. If I wouldn’t eat it myself, it won’t be on the blog. My aim is to inspire you with food that’s easy and fun to make, whether for you, family, roommates, or friends. I want you to look forward to cooking at the end of the day.
On a related note, I absolutely LOVE seeing the food that you’re making. It will make my day if you tag @ceciliascreativefoods in your Instagram photos and stories! I love to shout out my favorites on Fridays with Instagram Stories.
My Mother, My Inspiration
Since I was 5 years old, my Mother had always shown me around the kitchen, from where the tools of the trade were to what ingredients best fit for the dish being prepared. My Mother grew up on a farm, so food creations was always up to the person preparing it. She handed down so many amazing recipes to me and I cherish everyone of them. From cooking to baking, she taught me so much. As I look back today, I realized and truly feel honored and privileged to have been in the presence of such kitchen guru. My Mother inspired me to follow my passion for cooking and baking. I’ve cooked and baked for my kids, family and friends and just love working in the kitchen crafting something interesting and flavorful. So, here’s to my Mother and the one who keeps inspiring me in spirit to keep going with this passion.
Love you Mom!
